Co-hosting General ToS
​

Failed nominations of fines remain the responsibility of the Owner.

 

Vehicle may be temporarily unlisted by Co-host if reasonable actions are not taken by Owner when a maintenance report is provided to the Owner.

Flat charge of $75 if we need to bring your vehicle to service.

Flat charge of $25 for charging any EV for any battery % under 85%. 

Owner understands and agrees that all upcoming booked trips must be completed first. In the event a guest wishes to extend a currently booked trip that would overlap with the period of time Owner wishes to use the Vehicle, Owner shall forgo such use and allow for the guest’s booked trip to either

(i) be extended or

(ii) allow for the previously booked trip dates to be pulled forward. Owner shall not be permitted to book a trip for any Vehicle allocated to the Co-Host.

Owner will be responsible for costs incurred during pick-up and re-delivery of Vehicle to Co-host for personal use.

This Agreement contains the entire understanding between the parties as to the subject matter contained in it and all previous agreements, representations, warranties, explanations and commitments, expressed or implied, affecting this subject matter are superseded by this Agreement and have no effect.

This document may only be varied or replaced by a document duly executed by the parties.

This Agreement will be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria. The parties submit themselves to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

Claims & Damages to Vehicles

Co-host to manage Turo claims where vehicles are under Co-host account.

Owner to manage Turo claims where vehicles are under Owner account.

In the event of a Vehicle write-off, Co-host will liaise with Owner regarding payment of Vehicle as deemed by a Vehicle assessor. Co-host is not liable for any damages to the Vehicles when in a booking; to the best effort of the Co-host, damages will be reported to Turo and is at the discretion of Turo’s Claim team and the sharing plan selected by the Owner.

Tyre damages will be a best effort cost recovery from the guest, if not recovered from the guest, will be at the Owner’s expense.  Tyre punctures if not recovered from the guest, will be at the Owner’s expense.

Damage or loss of vehicle ‘between bookings’ will be reported to Owner and coverage to be provided by Owner’s insurance. h) Where a 3rd party cannot be identified in a ‘between bookings’ damage, Owner will need to accept liability.

 

In the event that the Vehicle is damaged while not being driven and not on a Turo trip, but while in possession of the Co-host (or employee or the Host), Owner’s personal vehicle insurance will apply for costs relating to repairing the Vehicle and Owner is responsible for any costs up to the deductible on Owner’s policy.

In the event that the Vehicle is damaged while being driven by the Co-host (or employee of the Co-host) and not on a Turo trip or Turo delivery, Valet 360 Pty Ltd’s insurance will apply for costs relating to repairing the Vehicle.

Payments and Disputes

Disputes If a dispute arises relating to this Agreement, or the use of the Vehicle (except in regard to payments due to the Owner), the parties agree to negotiate to settle the dispute before litigation.

Defaults by the Owner on the co-hosting fee and other due payments, Co-host reserves the rights to report to a credit rating agency and other relevant authorities. In addition, action will be taken to recover through debt collectors and legal action. Owner must pay all expenses incurred and 15% of the default amount as administrative expenses in addition to the defaulted amount.
